Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zeluu (zeluu.com) and the MathBuddy AI tutoring service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. By using the Service, you consent to the jurisdiction of UAE courts for any disputes arising from these Terms.

2. Service Description

Zeluu provides an AI-powered math tutoring platform for children in Grades 1-9, aligned with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum. The Service includes:

• AI Socratic tutoring via text and photo input
• Parent dashboard with session monitoring and progress reports
• Credit-based usage system
• Bilingual support (English and Arabic)

The Service is designed as a supplementary educational tool and is not a replacement for formal schooling or professional tutoring.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account, including your children's usage.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• One parent account per email address.

4. Credit System

4.1 How Credits Work

• Credits are consumed when a child interacts with the AI tutor (1 credit per AI response).
• New accounts receive 10 free credits upon registration.
• Additional credits can be purchased through subscription plans or add-on packs.

4.2 Credit Validity

• Subscription credits: Valid for 30 days from the billing date. Unused credits do not roll over.
• Quick Top-Up (100 credits): Valid for 14 days from purchase.
• Credit Pack (300 credits): Valid for 30 days from purchase.
• Credit Tank (1,000 credits): Valid for 90 days from purchase.

4.3 Credit Pricing

All prices are in USD. Current pricing is displayed on the pricing page and may be updated with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Downgrading plans takes effect at the next billing cycle.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose other than educational math tutoring
• Attempt to bypass the AI's safety filters or content restrictions
• Share account credentials with unauthorized users
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or copy the AI tutoring methodology
• Upload inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content through the photo feature
• Use the Service to generate content unrelated to mathematics education

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

7. Children's Access

• Children access the Service through credentials set by their parent.
• Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the Service.
• The AI tutor includes safety mechanisms (content filtering, stuck-loop detection) but parents should review sessions regularly.
• Parents can view all session transcripts through the dashboard.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Zeluu platform, MathBuddy AI, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Zeluu (GetZeal Technologies).
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service.
• Session transcripts are provided for personal educational use only and may not be commercially distributed.

9. Limitation of Liability

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes or improvements in academic performance.
• AI-generated tutoring content may occasionally contain errors. The Service should be used alongside, not as a replacement for, formal education.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Service Availability

• We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with 30 days notice.
• Credits will be refunded pro-rata if the Service is permanently discontinued.

11. Account Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting support@zeluu.com.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, remaining credits are forfeited unless the termination was initiated by us without cause.
• Data deletion will be processed within 30 days of account closure, except where retention is required by law.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be:

1. First addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
2. If unresolved within 30 days, submitted to mediation in Dubai, UAE.
3. If mediation fails, resolved through the courts of Dubai, UAE.

The language of all proceedings shall be English.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
